COTA Miracle Makers
Dear Friend,
If you could help make a miracle for a child, would you?
The question is as simple as that. If your answer is ‘yes’, I invite you to join a growing group of individuals, called COTA Miracle Makers, who are helping give children and young adults across the country a second chance at life.
The Children’s Organ Transplant Association (COTA) is a national non-profit organization that helps children and young adults who need or have had a life-saving transplant by raising funds to pay transplant-related expenses. Families from across the nation look to COTA for assistance and support, for hope … and possibly for a miracle.
For more than two decades, COTA has worked with thousands of volunteers to organize fundraising activities and organ/tissue donor awareness events. COTA’s Miracle Makers program targets hundreds of past campaign volunteers who know how to give hope and make miracles for transplant families. In addition to providing support to local patient campaigns, COTA’s Miracle Makers act as contacts for COTA in their communities for spearheading organ and tissue donation awareness activities.
I hope that you will choose to be a COTA Miracle Maker today. Make a donation. Volunteer to help a child in your community. Talk about the critical shortage of organ and tissue donors with your family and colleagues. Register to be an organ and tissue donor. Help us make a miracle.
Sincerely,

Rick Lofgren, President
Children’s Organ Transplant Association

Giving Hope:
“Hope is not always easy to come by when you have a child who needs an organ transplant. There are sources of hope that bring comfort and strength during these times … and COTA was our source of hope. COTA’s team rallied our friends, family and community together to support and encourage us during every step of Cason’s transplant journey.”
