COTA was honored to be selected as the FOX Sports Supports 2012 NFL on FOX charity. Beginning on September 9, 2012, and throughout the five months that concluded with the NFC Championship game on January 20, 2013, millions of NFL on FOX viewers learned about COTA as they watched their favorite football teams during the season. Fans heard about COTA’s life-saving mission from such NFL greats as Terry Bradshaw, Howie Long, Troy Aikman, Michael Strahan and Jimmy Johnson -- as well as the entire FOX football broadcast team.
This partnership provided COTA patients and volunteers with a national platform to talk about COTA’s mission: To help children and young adults who need a life-saving transplant by providing fundraising assistance and family support. COTA services to transplant families are completely free of charge, and funds generated by COTA community campaigns are available for almost any transplant-related expense.
If you are a first-time visitor to COTA's website, please take a moment to look in your neighborhood for a COTA family who needs your help. Learn how a community’s vision of helping a sick toddler developed into a national organization that has assisted more than 2,000 transplant patients. And make sure you follow COTA on Facebook, Twitter and YouTube to see how COTA Miracle Makers nationwide are giving hope and making miracles.
This has been a game-changing chapter in the history of the Children's Organ Transplant Association. Thank you to FOX Sports Supports and to NFL on FOX enthusiasts who saw the message and decided to help save kids' lives.
