Alex was admitted last night due to elevated platelets and inflammatory pockets in the intestines (found on X-ray). He was absolutely miserable yesterday with abdominal pain, nausea, and vomiting. They stopped his feeds completely to give his intestines a rest, and have started him on fluids.
He is feeling soooo much better this afternoon, (it’s Bingo night!!! ) and they are hoping this will be a very short stay (couple days).
