Extra prayers are needed for our little warrior tonight. Everett has been battling a 103° fever, shallow breathing, and poor circulation all day. So far, the chest x-ray, echocardiogram, and labs look normal, but we’re still waiting on several more labs and a biopsy to return.

Without knowing the main source of the infection, it’s difficult to treat, but the staff here at Duke are certainly trying their best.
