The Blueberry 5k Dash (A Denali Blueberry Festival event) follows a paved path, from the McKinley Chalets Resort, through the scenic Nenana River Canyon, to the entrance of Denali National Park, and returns along the same route.
The $25 registration fee goes to COTA for Helen L.
The Children’s Organ Transplant Association (COTA) is a national 501(c)3 charity dedicated to organizing and guiding communities in raising funds for transplant-related expenses. The Blueberry Dash was created to support a COTA in honor of a young tot who recently underwent a kidney transplant and the local Healy donor. All proceeds will go directly to COTA. Grant High School Royal Blues Performs for Helen!
News of Yogurt Hut’s “Celebrate Helen Month” traveled all the way to Portland! The Royal Blues choir of Portland’s Grant High School will be performing for Helen, her family, and supporters on Thursday, May 15 in the Lithia Park Plaza at 10:30am before enjoying some frozen yogurt at Yogurt Hut’s Ashland location. Come on by for some sweet tunes and, of course, for some fro-yo afterwards!
Family Night at the Ballpark
Join us Sunday, July 13 for a night of baseball, kid-friendly fun and good times with the Medford Rogues at the Harry and David ballpark in Medford. Gates open at 5pm and the game begins at 6:30. Helen will be throwing out the first pitch!! Tickets are only $8 and 50% of the proceeds will be donated to COTA in honor of Helen L!
