Porter had busy birthday yesterday! He had his femoral a-line moved to an Artery in the top of his foot, his nitric oxide weaned down a bit along with some other medicines. They also increased his food to 3mls per hour. OT visited Porter and we worked on stretching his hands and elongating his fingers so the tendons stay lengthened and he continues to do

his “syringe curls” to bulk up his biceps. 🙂 One of our nurses found a v-tech toy that lights up and sings songs so we hold that up for Porter to watch – he is just mezmorized by the colors and lights. It’s awesome to see him react and engage with the toy.
