Porter had a quiet day today.  No big changes or events, just rest.  Both Steve and I were able to hold him for quite a while today and his new bed makes it easier to manage all his IV’s and vent tubing.  Next step is going to be to try to sit him up a little more and start working on his strength. 

So far his right chest and abdomen have not started accumulating fluid so the “vacation from chest tube” continues.
