Porter was moved last night from the CVICU down to the PCU and has been doing well since.  He has not had a fever today and his hr has been where it should be.  He’s still sleepy and recovering from his surgery so he slept a lot today.  They took the NG tube out of his nose last night so now he is getting fed directly through the G-tube that goes directly to his stomach.  It’s awesome to see his face without the tube down his nose!  The skin on his cheek is a little irritated from the tape that held the NG tube on his face but that should clear up in no time.  Looking forward to getting him out on the exercise mat tomorrow!
