Porter continues to remain stable and we remain cautiously optimistic as we wait and wait for a heart. 🙂 He was disappointed in how the Super Bowl was going on Sunday so he chose to sleep through the last half. Can’t say we blame him! He has had a busy day today. They placed a PICC Line in which is a long, slender, small, flexible tube that is inserted into a peripheral vein in his upper arm, and advanced until the catheter tip terminates in a large vein in the chest near the heart to obtain intravenous access. The hope is to be able to remove the central line from his neck which I’m sure he would appreciate. He tolerated the procedure well and is taking a much deserved nap.

He continues to amaze us with his strength and courage.
