Transplant Evaluation Decision

“The transplant team has officially decided that they want more testing done and then they’ll have another meeting on when/whether to list me. They said they usually will not ask for more tests unless you will be a candidate but sometimes they find things in the tests that can of course change candidacy.

The outstanding tests I will need are:
-Barium Swallow for Acid Reflux
-CT Scan of my sinuses
-Visit the ENT (my worst nightmare)
-Pap Smear and talk about an Ablation
-Dental Exam and any dental work necessary for transplant clearance
-Potentially seeing a Rheumatologist again because a marker was found related to things like Lupus, Arthritis, etc.. although I guess they didn’t see previous notes that I recently saw a Rheumatologist and they think I have Fibromyalgia
-Whatever else they come up with between now and then

The good news is I’m already scheduled for everything and some things I can do inpatient. The bad news is my dental exam is still over a month away, so I’m going to have to see if I can move that up/move everything along and if I need more work done it could substantially delay the decision.

After everything is complete they will have another meeting and make a decision again on whether to list me immediately, list me in the future, do more testing, or not list me at all”.
