so we got approval today for our first big fundraiser. We will be doing a walk/run in July. We had to appear in front of our local park board. It was difficult to hold the tears at bay. Luckily it was fairly informal and the board was very nice and patient. We also started selling COTA miracle maker icons today at my work. I really felt the love as everyone was so supportive. It’s really hard for me to ask people for money. Or even help in fundraising so it is wonderful to be surrounded by coworkers who are so willing to help.
