Thanksgiving eve

Yesterday Amy woke up with a fever, chills, chest pain, low 02 levels, and vomiting. A quick ambulance ride later we arrived at MGH, where she was quickly taken care of by their lovely ED team. She recieved a bronchoscopy this morning, and her stats are looking good at the moment. Most likely a pneumonia, which can be very dangerous for transplant patients because of their immunodeficiency. She spent the night in the ED but is getting moved to her regular floor- the transplant unit- today. Another set back, but hopefully a short one this time. She has been home for only about 5 weeks out of the past 6 months. Lung transplants are such a grueling ordeal. But still blessed we can still spend Thanksgiving together.
