Update from Sarah
Good News: Amy spoke a little today. She said hello, and she recognized me. She is still not putting together full sentences, and her mind seems to get lost again quickly, but I'm thankful it's a step in the right direction. Her doctors are also beginning to rule out meningitis as test results come in.
Bad News: The MRI and CT scans of Amy's brain show a definite abnormality. There is a lesion/spot that they can't identify. She will need a biopsy of her brain for them to understand what they're dealing with. This will involve drilling a small hole into her head to get a sample. This procedure could take place as soon as Saturday. I am hoping and praying the results will show something that is treatable.
