5/2/17 - 6:38 p.m.
Update: all functions monitored by the team are doing fine. The new lungs are efficiently removing CO2 from her body, oxygen is saturating, blood pressure is within limits. She woke up briefly and groggily and responded to questions from Sheila Griner and me. Mercifully they increased her sedation medication and she went back to sleep. The team is still not entirely sure why her blood is not coagulating normally - the leading train of thought currently is the increase of tygecycline has affected her blood. The team is still not comfortable giving her an epidural in this condition. So we wait. I will update later after next lab results. Y'all have a good night.-Nick
