Daniel has made great strides over the last couple of days and we are so thankful for the prayers of our family, friends, and those just following his story as we know these prayers were answered by a gracious God. KMOV a local CBS affiliate here in St. Louis reached out to Daniel to talk about organ donation. He was gracious and feeling well enough to do the interview so we will link it here for people to go to if they want to view it. The news focused on the organ donation …aspect and edited much of the interview with him, his physician, and us; however, it highlighted well the need for organ donation for congenital heart patients. Daniel also had a surprise visit from some of the BCLR pastoral staff on their way back from T4G. Daniel is scheduled for discharge locally on Monday with follow-ups this week here in St. Louis. Daniel needs to continue his lung exercises, increase his appetite, and the adjustments to his transplant medications.
