Daniel’s discharge was postponed because he has had increased pain possibly muscle spasms on his right side. He usually will not take pain medication but when these occur it takes quite a bit of meds to get him comfortable. Tina got a good nights sleep in a hotel close by so she is feeling refreshed. I have some strange reaction going on where my lower lip and lower jaws are swelling. I may go to urgent care today because Benadryl is providing only temporary relief of swelling. Thank you all for your thoughts, well wishes, and especially your prayers. Daniel will hopefully get his chest tube stitches removed today as they have been pulling on him. We will update you on the discharge plan. Things to pray for:

1. He can get the chest tube sutures out and relieve the discomfort.

2. He can get up and move around today more so that he can stretch the muscles that are cramping.

3. His body continues to accept the new heart and he grows stronger.

4. His appetite continues to improve as he needs the calories. He did eat a small meal last night with a shake. That was an answer to prayer.
