Today is one week and three days post transplant and Daniel has made a miraculous recovery so far. Each day is getting a little bit better in terms of mobility, endurance, and even pain. April is Organ Awareness Month so we want to recognize the great gift Daniel recieved and encourage others who know Daniel to consider becoming and organ donor. There are great resources that can provide information and direction to where you can sign up to be an organ donor and answer many questions people have about organ donation. Without people willing to donate many patients never make it to transplant and with the overall organ waiting list at over 125,000 list organs there is an abdudant need with limited resources.
