It’s been a few weeks since the last tests were sent off to University of Washington Medical Center, and in all honesty…I was getting nervous about Corey being a match. Then he texted today saying they finally called with great news! It looks like we will be headed to Seattle soon for the big 2-day test (similar to the kidney transplant screening Kaylin did in October at Seattle Children’s) to see if Corey’s kidney is a match. Whew. Good news today! It feels like we are juggling and have lots of balls in the air, but we will get through this. We are overwhelmed by the support we have received by some friends and family- even some people we haven’t spoke to in many years, some who are complete strangers. Each and every one of you are appreciated as we are on this journey. ♥
