Michael is the Special Assistant and Project Manager to the Associate Vice President for Budget and Planning at Indiana University.  Michael has worked in various financial positions with the university since 1995.

Prior to coming to Indiana, he worked in the Office of the Chancellor for the California State University system in Long Beach, California, as a Senior Analyst in the Management and Planning Analysis unit.  Before entering higher education administration, he did two stints in the Wall St. district of New York City working for a major corporate bank and an econometric/data provider with investment, trading and banking clients.

Michael holds a Bachelor’s degree, with a major in Management, from Howard University, in Washington, D.C., and a Master’s degree, with a major in Management Information Systems, from the University of Maryland, College Park, MD.  He matriculated into the Ph.D. program in Information Science at Claremont Graduate School (CA) before relocating to Indiana.

Michael has been involved with COTA since 1999.  He resides in Bloomington, Indiana.
