The documentarian&#8217;s life was extended 20+ years through two liver transplants (this first one failed). Thanks to these lifesaving procedures, Redford was able to live to see his two children grow up.<\/p>\n<p>Because of Redford&#8217;s personal experiences, he started a foundation to promote organ donation among many admirable endeavors.<\/p>\n<p>We are inspired by this true hero.
