Addi is officially 6 months post liver transplant and just about 16 months old \u2014 and somehow, she just keeps amazing us more every single day. \ud83d\udc9a<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Our sweet girl is on the move nonstop \u2014 walking, climbing, exploring everything she can get her hands on, and laughing at just about anything. Her personality is really shining through lately, especially when she flashes that big cheesy grin for pictures\u2026 extra big when she knows she\u2019s doing something she shouldn\u2019t be. She keeps us all on our toes in the best way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
One of the most surprising (and cutest!) updates \u2014 her hair has turned red! After always being brown, this little change has caught everyone off guard and just adds even more to what makes Addi so uniquely her.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
She absolutely loves being outside and would stay out there all day if she could. Whether it\u2019s fresh air, new things to look at, or just being on the move, that\u2019s her happy place. And through it all, one of the most special things to watch is the bond she shares with her twin sister, Lainee. She loves to cuddle her, be near her, and the two of them continue to grow side by side through every high and low. It\u2019s something truly special.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
If you didn\u2019t know her story, you would never guess that Addi is a liver transplant warrior. Her energy, her appetite, and her joyful spirit are just incredible. She is thriving in every sense of the word, and it\u2019s nothing short of amazing to witness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Her doctors continue to be extremely impressed with her progress. Since surgery, they\u2019ve been able to significantly reduce her medications, which is a huge milestone. As long as her bloodwork continues to stay strong (and it has been!), they\u2019ll keep working toward lowering them even more \u2014 something we are so hopeful and grateful for.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Mom, Dad, sissy, and even the pups couldn\u2019t be more proud. Addi is so deeply loved, and every single day she reminds us just how strong, resilient, and full of life she is. She is truly a little miracle, and we are so thankful to watch her grow, thrive, and shine. \ud83d\udc9a<\/p>\n\n\n\n
