The nurses and respiratory therapists welcomed me back and told me he couldn\u2019t wait to see me. Then others said they\u2019ve never seen him smile so big or for so long straight. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I showed him pictures of the spaghetti feed that were posted by the kids\u2019 teachers and he LOVED it! I even got him to laugh a bit (with no sound). It was hard saying goodbye to the other kids today but it was good to see him so happy. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He is able to adjust his bed using the buttons now and this is a HUGE step for him. He\u2019s doing so well and I\u2019ll be having 1:1 time with him the next few days while dad goes home to see the other kids.
