Today\u2019s update is one of both gratitude and quiet strength. We\u2019re so happy to share that Aidan is making amazing strides<\/strong> in his recovery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He has successfully received his transplant<\/strong>, undergone several follow-up procedures, and is now walking laps around his unit<\/strong>. His resilience is astounding \u2014 and now, another encouraging milestone:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\ud83c\udf7c Aidan has started tolerating small feeds through his G-tube<\/strong>, a critical step in rebuilding strength and preparing his body for the long-term healing journey ahead.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

At his side every step of the way is his mom, Nichole<\/strong>, who continues to show immense love and courage. She\u2019s taking moments to rest and recharge while staying completely focused on Aidan\u2019s comfort and care.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\ud83c\udfe1 What’s Next: Transitioning Out of ICU<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

As Aidan\u2019s condition stabilizes, the care team is preparing for the next phase of recovery<\/strong>. Once he is cleared to leave the ICU, Aidan and Nichole will remain in NYC for about 8 more weeks<\/strong> to stay close to the hospital and continue outpatient care.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Their first choice is Ronald McDonald House New York<\/strong>, which provides a supportive, family-centered space during this time. However, due to high demand, there\u2019s currently a longer-than-expected wait for a room<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This means there may be a gap in housing<\/strong> \u2014 during which they may need to stay in a nearby hotel at personal cost.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
