Thanks to the gift of transplant and the incredible care and support surrounding him, Aidan is doing so well. He and his mom, Nichole, have even been out and about in New York City, taking in the sights, sunshine, and vibrant energy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Even though he won&#8217;t be home to celebrate this birthday (shout out to RMHNY!!) we want to share the day in a special way &#8212; with all of you who have stood by Aidan&#8217;s side.<br>That&#8217;s why we&#8217;re so excited to launch Aidan&#8217;s Lucky 13 Birthday Fundraiser!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-what-is-aidan-s-lucky-13\">\ud83d\udc99 What is Aidan\u2019s Lucky 13?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>To celebrate Aidan turning 13, we are raising funds for COTA in honor of Aidan&#8217;s Battle, which supports a lifetime of transplant-related expenses, with joy, gratitude and a little bit of luck. COTA then dispenses funds to families to assist with those life-long expenses.
