This will take place tomorrow, along with his MRI. The results of the scope will determine our next steps. If everything looks good internally we will be discussing transition plans with his BMT doctor and hopefully coming home this week. If something is found we will likely stay here until it is resolved.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">We have started the prep for his scope today, which has not been fun, as anyone who has had a scope knows. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">At his last clinic appointment we also discussed changing Alek&rsquo;s feeds formula, which his team was on board with. We have not started this yet, as I wanted to give his GI system a break and make sure everything is ok inside. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Alek was also prescribed a different appetite stimulant, the third and last option. Thanking the Lord because this one seems to be working!!! Over the weekend Alek was eating cheese balls (a new favorite), strawberries, string cheese, sour patch kids and air heads. The other families have commented on how good Alek looks and seems &#8211; he was dancing outside, playing with the other kids, and much more talkative this weekend! <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">We would love to see support for Alek tomorrow and are asking that you wear your Alek Strong shirts! We are also asking that you would send up prayers for him that his scope is clear and we are able to come home! We know the Lord is our healer and can do ALL things!
