{"id":35,"date":"2018-08-02T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2018-08-02T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cota1.wpengine.com\/cotaforarabella\/?p=35"},"modified":"2018-08-02T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"2018-08-02T00:00:00","slug":"pop-in-and-paint","status":"publish","type":"event","link":"https:\/\/cota.org\/cotaforarabella\/events\/pop-in-and-paint\/","title":{"rendered":"Pop In and Paint"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We&#8217;re excited to offer this opportunity to have fun and fellowship while releasing your inner artist and supporting COTA in honor of Arabella. &nbsp;Join us on <strong>Wednesday, August 29, from 7-9 p.m.<\/strong> to create the Fleur-de-lis painting pictured in the banner image. &nbsp;The Fleur-de-lis has long been associated as an image of the city of Louisville. &nbsp;It has also been used in religious settings to represent the Holy Trinity and in battle by Joan of Arc as a coat of arms. &nbsp;These all hold symbolic meaning for Arabella&#8217;s Army. &nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Participants will be led by Susanna Bard, a talented artist in various media and a dear friend of Arabella&#8217;s mom since college. &nbsp;Refreshments will be served and the event will be hosted in the private home of family friends, Carolyn &amp; Don Snow. &nbsp;After completing registration, you will be provided with The Snow&#8217;s address in the Highlands.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>You&#8217;ll have a night of fun and will go home with a beautiful 16 x 20 creation of your own, plus you&#8217;ll have supported COTA&#8217;s mission of helping transplant needy families.
