Hoppy Easter, Arden’s Hope Club! We are so grateful for all of your love and support thus far in Arden’s liver transplant journey. Arden will be 8 months in just 6 days; time is flying, but we are soaking up every minute with this sweet boy. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A small update<\/strong> on his health since he was discharged on March 21, 2024. During his hospital stay at University Health, he was evaluated for a liver transplant. His liver team determined he is “stable” for now and decided to give him as many vaccinations as possible pre-transplant as he will be immunocompromised post-transplant. Upon discharge, Arden received his MMR, RSV, COVID, and Flu vaccinations and we are staying in San Antonio to stay close to the transplant facility. He will need 4 weeks to clear the vaccine before transplant. During these 4 weeks, he will keep his NG tube to grow him big and strong for surgery. He will follow up with the liver team weekly to monitor his labs and weight gain. Fortunately, Lali (Grandmother) has been able to stay with Savannah (Mother) and Arden, while Collins (Father) works in Lubbock during the weekdays and visits on the weekends. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Carolina (Aunt) and Stacy (Aunt) are both being evaluated to be Arden’s living donor, we hope to hear a ruling on the transplant committees decision soon, but as of now, we have not found a viable liver donor for Arden<\/strong>.
