We are leaving with a bile duct drain, BUT today is the first day in her whole life Bexley has had NORMAL liver numbers!! Praise Jesus!! Hallelujah!! I have been praying for this since she was diagnosed with liver disease at just 2 years old. Praise God! Her biopsy results showed bile duct changes consistent with the stricture they are treating with the drain and no rejection!! God is faithful!<br>We are heading home with new meds and new things to get used to like daily dressing changes, drain flushes, and bag emptying. It will be a new normal and we will find our groove.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please continue to pray for no infection or complications with the drain in. They said at the first sign of a fever or her feeling unwell we are to get her back to Duke asap. They expect she will need it for at least 4 weeks to a few months. Pray with us that this is a one and done, and when they go back in in 4 weeks, the problem is solved! We are trusting and believing.
