Today was a very special day, we had the honor of celebrating Sable’s birthday and Brandon and Cairo’s one-month Liver-versary. We went to the pumpkin patch and Cairo was able to enjoy the beautiful weather. Watching him grow stronger and stronger every day has been amazing. He is truly resilient! <\/span><\/p>\n

Cairo has had no complications and has been weened off a few medications already. This journey has not been easy on any of us, but we continue to thank our family and friends for their continuous prayers, support, and donations. Your words of encouragement make each day a little easier. Many people are not aware that October is Liver Awareness Month. As a family who has experienced all sides of the liver transplant process, it is our duty to share our story to help others and to bring hope to families going through similar situations.
