The Children&rsquo;s Organ Transplant Association (COTA) is a national charity dedicated to organizing and guiding communities in raising funds for transplant-related expenses. In Lavon, volunteers are raising funds for COTA in honor of transplant patients like local child, Cash Williams.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #000000; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Arial, Verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 14.08px; letter-spacing: normal;\">Cash is the son of Meagan and Tony Williams. Born in 2013, Cash was diagnosed with Nephrotic Syndrome. The doctors at Dallas Children&rsquo;s Hospital in Dallas, Texas, have recommended a life-saving kidney transplant. An estimated $100,000 is being raised by Lavon volunteers.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #000000; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Arial, Verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 14.08px; letter-spacing: normal;\">Volunteers are needed to assist with fundraising activities that will help with transplant-related expenses.
