The rationale for this is that Cohen\u2019s oxygen levels continue to lower and pose a risk for him to fly when we do get a call. His team connected earlier this week and determined this was necessary.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So, we will drive to Stanford on Thursday. Jess and Cohen will stay there and I will fly back to be with the girls until we have an offer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We are bummed we have to split our family but again, we trust his doctors and have faith in God\u2019s plan and timing. We will be okay, and we will make it out the other side of this stronger and home with a healthy boy.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The surgery day gets closer with both fear and hope. We choose to remain grounded in the positives, focusing on the life we regain post transplant with restored oxygen levels. Sports, bike riding, playing tag at recess, and all the other things 7yr old boys should (and shouldn\u2019t) be doing. He dreams for those days back and so do we.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Thank you all for the continued support.
