Collin and his folks are staying in the transplant suite at the Ronald McDonald house, so he goes right outside our door to do his school work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4 February marks one week since discharge!! Collin is doing well overall and the doctors continue to be impressed!!\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He is still restricted to 10g fat a day, which makes for some weight loss. He has to follow this for at least one more week. Collin is ready to eat, but all the good stuff has fat.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

His Tacrolimus level is at 7 (this is his anti rejection levels) they want him between 10-12. So they increased one of his meds and have a re-draw on Friday. But after labs, he will be headed home until Monday. He\u2019s super excited!!\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For a few weeks he will have outpatient OT on Tuesdays and a full clinic day on Wednesday\u2019s. So if no issues arise or his levels are steady he should be able to come home for the weekends. They haven\u2019t given us a date where we can do labs at home. He\u2019s still too \u201cnew\u201d to be released.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tara starts her new assignment on Monday. It\u2019s another OR assignment so less germs. Chris will continue to stay with Collin until he is released to do labs near our home.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
