Tough couple of days for my girl. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cyla had just been moved to a step down unit from PICU, and within hours of being there, she had to have a bedside procedure of opening one of her incisions on her abdomen. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

There was a large hematoma that they had to remove and then there is a bleed that they are trying to stop. She has a large gaping opening in her stomach now that is just unbelievable to look at. They will not close it due to infection risk. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

She has now had to have three blood transfusions as her blood counts keep dropping. This morning they are taking her to get a CT scan to see if the bleed is above or below the muscle tissue, she may very well be back in the OR today. She continues to fight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She is feeling overwhelmed and discouraged. We are trying to keep her spirits lifted. Please keep prayers coming that they can find the source of this bleed and remedy it soon so she can heal. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I am attaching a photo of a therapy pup that has been visiting her. It seems to brighten her spirits a bit even if only for a hour or so. Thank you for the continued outpouring of love, we definitely need it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
