The procedure took place in Phoenix Children&#8217;s Hospital and went smoothly.  He was expected to remain in hospital for 7 to 10 days but progressed so quickly that he was released after just a few-days stay.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Desi is now recuperating at home and will need to stay isolated for the next three months to avoid any complications from infection.
