He received IV fluids Thursday and has been pushing fluids since, all while feeling better than he has in a long time and back to his goofy self!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Unfortunately, today his creatinine is still about the same at 1.74. We\u2019ll continue increasing fluids, and if there\u2019s no improvement by Monday, the next step will be a kidney biopsy to rule out early rejection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is a tough hit\u2014Dierks said he doesn\u2019t want to go through this again for a very long time. For now, we\u2019re staying focused, taking it day by day, and holding onto the good moments.
