We will likely try to keep the updates with information about Dylan as frequent as possible, but please be patient with us as we continue to move forward.  Being away from the hospital means that a lot of the information we receive will have to come from her primary caregivers now (so much love to you Sarah and Les \u2764\ufe0f) and we have to realize that each minute they spend during the day the priority is Dylan and her care.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Over the past couple of days Dylan&#8217;s eating has continued to improve.  And I say this with all seriousness, that these improvements are monumental and also really important to her healing.  But it will still take time.  I am particularly proud that over the past few days she has been craving her uncle&#8217;s most favorite, which was a pretty special thing for me as I prepared to leave.  Small bites perhaps, but big awesome!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" src=\"https:\/\/cota.org\/cotafordylanstrong\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6432\/2024\/12\/image-9-1024x768.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-193\" srcset=\"https:\/\/cota.org\/cotafordylanstrong\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6432\/2024\/12\/image-9-1024x768.png 1024w, https:\/\/cota.org\/cotafordylanstrong\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6432\/2024\/12\/image-9-300x225.png 300w, https:\/\/cota.org\/cotafordylanstrong\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6432\/2024\/12\/image-9-768x576.png 768w, https:\/\/cota.org\/cotafordylanstrong\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6432\/2024\/12\/image-9-1536x1152.png 1536w, https:\/\/cota.org\/cotafordylanstrong\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6432\/2024\/12\/image-9-2048x1536.png 2048w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Most notable in my thoughts as I left was the road ahead and the continued mental challenges of pushing forward each day.  As you know, sometimes we all need some time off, and for Dylan, that can&#8217;t happen.  Things will begin to ease up, but each day her caregivers, and doctors, and Dylan herself continue to press onward to healing.  I find something very special about that when I think about this process that is both terrifying and awesome (full of awe).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>From where I am, as I now rejoin so many of you in being supportive from afar, I can only send my most well of wishes and positivity their way.  However my love, my heart, and my spirit will never leave&#8230;as I am sure is the same with all of us.  Much peace be yours today Dylan, and all in your presence.
