They had a liver for Eli. However, these things are so complex. We wouldn&rsquo;t know until Elijah was in the operating room if he would receive his transplant.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-variant-ligatures: normal; font-variant-caps: normal; orphans: 2; text-align: start; widows: 2; -webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; text-decoration-thickness: initial; text-decoration-style: initial; text-decoration-color: initial; word-spacing: 0px; margin: 0in 0in 18.75pt 0in;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10.5pt; font-family: 'Helvetica',sans-serif; color: #818181; letter-spacing: .55pt;\">We arrived to duke at around 12 am we were admitted and put into a room Elijah got a couple of tests done but then all we could do was wait. Around 3 pm they took Elijah to preop. Then around 4:30 pm we got the call they started surgery. they weren&rsquo;t finished until around 11 that night.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-variant-ligatures: normal; font-variant-caps: normal; orphans: 2; text-align: start; widows: 2; -webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; text-decoration-thickness: initial; text-decoration-style: initial; text-decoration-color: initial; word-spacing: 0px; margin: 0in 0in 18.75pt 0in;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10.5pt; font-family: 'Helvetica',sans-serif; color: #818181; letter-spacing: .55pt;\">Elijah did great! there have been no major complications as of yet and we are holding strong he&#8217;ll stay that way. We are post op day 6 as this is being typed.
