Blood sugars did amazing. Pain was and continues to be our biggest challenge at this point. Pain team will be coming by shortly to see if we can get her more comfortable. We may try to sit the head of the bed up today but not sure if we will get her all the way to the chair today or not. She is very alert this morning and talking to us quite a bit. They took 1 of her sedations meds (precedex) off overnight because it was causing her heart rate to go a little too low but she remains on 1 sedation med (Ketamine) that will also help her not remember most of this!&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Emmy \u201cwatched\u201d basketball with me last night although she didn\u2019t seem nearly as disappointed as I was with how that game ended. Turns out both of the girls \u201clove\u201d watching basketball with me when they\u2019re sedated!!&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Her stuffed hippo Momo and Baby Kim went into the OR with her yesterday and I wanted to give an update on them as well.
