{"id":94,"date":"2021-07-17T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2021-07-17T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cota1.wpengine.com\/cotaforemmysjourney\/2021\/07\/17\/round-7-post-op-day-169\/"},"modified":"2021-07-17T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"2021-07-17T00:00:00","slug":"round-7-post-op-day-169","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cota.org\/cotaforemmysjourney\/2021\/07\/17\/round-7-post-op-day-169\/","title":{"rendered":"Round 7: post-op day 169"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Yesterday, we ended up in Madison for an emergency doctor&rsquo;s appointment.&nbsp; Emmy was not happy!&nbsp; Emmy had an infection on her lip so the nurse practitioner wanted some tests completed to make sure this wasn&rsquo;t the start of a more severe infection.&nbsp; Emmy had a blood work up and a lip swab.&nbsp; Emmy&rsquo;s blood count revealed no abnormalities in her blood count.&nbsp; The lip swab will not come back for a couple of days.&nbsp; Emmy was not exhibiting any other symptoms so the team is waiting to see if an antibiotic will be needed in the future.&nbsp; Today, her lip is looking better.&nbsp; However, with all the worry, we did get good news!&nbsp; Emmy does not have to take voriconazole and cyclosporine any more!&nbsp; Emmy&rsquo;s pill regime was reduced by 14 pills and no more cyclosporine liquid!
