With some help, he was able to sit up, and he\u2019s been very determined to do it on his own. He\u2019s not quite there yet, mostly because he\u2019s still getting a bit of sedation, but that hasn\u2019t stopped his stubborn spirit\u2014he tries to get up every chance he gets!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A little while later, they did put the CPAP mask on to help support his lungs, which were working a bit too hard and looking a little hazy. It\u2019s all part of the process, and his care team is on top of it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We\u2019re so proud of how strong and resilient Eric continues to be. Every day brings new challenges, but also new victories.
