Evelyn sat outside with me for a little while, all bundled up in her coat, as we watched the sun go down. It\u2019s been since November since she last stepped outside to breathe in some fresh air. I could see the sparkle in her eyes, that little moment of amazement she had just being outside and it made me smile. We\u2019re so looking forward to warmer days when she can spend even more time outdoors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The other day, Evelyn and I were sitting in the hallway visiting with another baby who had a heart transplant back in October. We were trying to get her to wave (she\u2019s never done it before), and leave it to Evelyn \u2014 she got her to do it! The few nurses nearby cheered, and it was the sweetest thing.
