Her echo showed that her heart is still working incredibly hard. There are areas we\u2019re keeping a close eye on, and the team at Mayo is reviewing everything carefully to guide our next steps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Her labs showed her hemoglobin is still low (8.7) and her reticulocyte hemoglobin (18.8) means her bone marrow isn\u2019t quite making strong new red blood cells yet. She\u2019s also tested positive for RSV and adenovirus, which explains why she\u2019s been so pale, tired, and just not herself these last few days. I am not sure how long we will be restricted\/isolated to her room, but until symptoms go away, and\/or she has negative tests, we will have to make do.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We\u2019re so proud of how brave she continues to be through all of this even when she\u2019s feeling crummy and just wants to rest.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Thank you to everyone who continues to pray for and rally around Evelyn. Your messages, love, and light mean more than you know.
