It was noted in her chart this afternoon that if her echo looks reassuring after all the ventilator weaning, they will plan to remove her breathing tube tomorrow. I\u2019m not holding my breath on that one\u2026 no pun intended. <img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\u2764\ufe0f\" src=\"https:\/\/fonts.gstatic.com\/s\/e\/notoemoji\/17.0\/2764_fe0f\/32.png\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Every single day we pray to see our little girl\u2019s eyes and hear her sweet voice again. She is doing so incredibly well considering the long week she\u2019s had. It\u2019s hard to believe it\u2019s been almost 8 days now of her being intubated. This has been one of the hardest things we\u2019ve ever gone through, and it really makes you miss and appreciate the smallest things in life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I also want to take a moment to thank each and every one of you who has sent Evelyn care packages, cards, prayers, homemade gifts, messages, and well wishes over this last week. The amount of love surrounding our family has been overwhelming in the best way. I cannot wait for her to wake up and see all the beautiful things that have been dropped off for her.
