Friday’s procedure went smoothly, and Evelyn is adjusting well to her new Berlin Heart system. One challenge is that the machine can only be unplugged for about 30 minutes at a time, which makes it difficult to find opportunities to get out and do things. In the coming days, we’ll be advocating for some outdoor time and fresh air. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today was spent celebrating Father’s Day with Dad and Grandpa. It was a special day filled with family and quality time together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This evening, Evelyn had her hair washed in the shower, which took some creative maneuvering with all of her equipment, but we made it work. Afterward, we treated ourselves to a little foot spa, and now we’re ending the night the best way possible cuddled up together watching a movie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
