We discharged that Wednesday afternoon and got to spend a restful night in a hotel and go out to dinner just the 3 of us. &nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">He is still in a some pain and we are giving him tylenol to help but it&rsquo;s getting better. &nbsp;He does have a drain in his vesicostomy, a hole directly into his bladder, and will get the drain and stitches out on Thursday here in Peoria at our doctors office. &nbsp;I think the stitches pulling is really what is making him uncomfortable so I&rsquo;m ready for them to come out. &nbsp;&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">After the drain comes out they are going to teach us &nbsp;how to dilate the vesicostomy twice a day plus irrigate it will antibiotic solution too. &nbsp;I wonder how that&rsquo;s going to feel? &nbsp;Hope it doesn&rsquo;t hurt. &nbsp;Poor buddy!&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">This month is National Kidney Month! &nbsp;You can follow along with the Week of Zeke on our Facebook page for some fun facts. &nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Thank you all for praying for us on our trip and for our girls. &nbsp;They had lot of fun with their Noni and Papa and we even got to take them to one of their favorite ice cream places when we picked them up.&nbsp; Please continue to pray for healing and for upcoming lab work &nbsp;for me (Katie) as we prepare further for the Kidney transplant. &nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">With Love,<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The Bells<\/span><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"imgCenter\" src=\"https:\/\/cota.org\/uploads\/151\/images\/IMG_2908.JPG\" alt=\"\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"imgCenter\" src=\"https:\/\/cota.org\/uploads\/151\/images\/IMG_2910.JPG\" alt=\"\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"imgCenter\" src=\"https:\/\/cota.org\/uploads\/151\/images\/IMG_2928.JPG\" alt=\"\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"imgCenter\" src=\"https:\/\/cota.org\/uploads\/151\/images\/IMG_2949.JPG\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Zeke did really well with his bladder surgery on February 26th.
