Today is hospital discharge day! Woohoo! Thank the Lord!
Several tests still aren\u2019t back yet\u2026and yes, she still has rejection based on her echo and biopsies; but, her Allosure test that can be an indicator of active rejection is down to 0.25 which is great news! Her BNP is still high but much improved. Her kidney numbers are stable. There\u2019s not much more we can do for her inpatient that we haven\u2019t already done. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

So what\u2019s next? Well, that\u2019s a good question that we don\u2019t have an answer to yet. The team conferences on her today. They have been thinking over the weekend as to what treatment we try next. We have been thinking\u2026. There\u2019s just a lot to consider and right now none of us know the best answer. This is going to be a week by week, month by month thing where we go based off of what Ela\u2019s labs, echo, and body are telling us. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We will definitely be coming back up here in 2 weeks for an appointment and probably monthly after that. We did learn some more information about long term expectations this trip. We will update on that at a different time. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

For now, we are rejoicing to be going home and being reunited with the boys!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
