Everything went well with the procedure; in fact the team decided only to perform a right heart catheterization and go through her neck instead of her groin. This was much more comfortable for Gianna and will reduce the recovery time. Her numbers are very similar to her catheterization performed last December. This is excellent news! The heart team is very happy with this and is hopeful that it will stay like this for a while. Today she had an office visit with her cardiologist to go over all of her test results. The plan is to continue to monitor her with follow-up testing in six months and repeat the catheterization in a year.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
Please continue to keep Gianna in your thoughts and prayers.
