Gillian\u2019s epidural has been the magic ticket\u2014finally keeping her pain at bay. After two days of absolute misery, today brought quiet, rest, and moments of peace. She slipped in and out of sleep so gently that it felt like the weight of the past 48 hours had finally lifted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This girl. \ud83d\udc9c<br>I wish I had the words to fully express my gratitude and awe at being her mother. It\u2019s so easy in moments like these to ask \u201cwhy me?\u201d or to feel the unfairness of it all\u2014but she never goes there. Instead, she reflects deeply, searching for meaning in her path, trusting that God is holding her through even the hardest moments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Even when she is fragile and hurting, she still holds space for others.
