{"id":46,"date":"2020-01-19T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2020-01-19T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cota1.wpengine.com\/cotaforhaydenm\/2020\/01\/19\/update-1-19-20\/"},"modified":"2020-01-19T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"2020-01-19T00:00:00","slug":"update-1-19-20","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cota.org\/cotaforhaydenm\/2020\/01\/19\/update-1-19-20\/","title":{"rendered":"Update 1\/19\/20"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;\" src=\"https:\/\/cota.org\/uploads\/1775\/images\/Yeah%20it%E2%80%99s%20rough%20%281%29.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"654\" height=\"632\" \/><\/p>\n<div dir=\"ltr\">Things are not going as planned.&nbsp; Hayden is back at CMH with another fluid dissection.&nbsp; This is the same thing that happened back in November.&nbsp; So now we have to give up on PD dialysis from home and move to long term Hemo dialysis.&nbsp; Hayden will have surgery probably on Tuesday to place the Hemo catheter and remove the PD catheter.&nbsp; We will either have to travel Monday Wednesday Friday to a dialysis clinic (Salina is not an option) or we may decide to do Hemo at home.&nbsp; If we choose to do Hemo at home it means 6 weeks of training at CMH and some home renovations to make it work.&nbsp; Please be in prayer for Hayden.&nbsp; He is having a really hard time with this transition.&nbsp; He wants to try PD again even if it means another abdominal surgery.&nbsp; However,&nbsp; we can&rsquo;t keep doing abdominal surgeries when the last one didn&rsquo;t last even a month.&nbsp; He wants to be a normal kid and missing three days a school a week and all the travel isn&rsquo;t much fun.
