Before June, there was hope that Isaac\u2019s heart might recover on its own, but it became clear that a transplant was the best path forward. This milestone doesn\u2019t feel like a celebration, but it\u2019s a necessary point in the journey. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The waiting game is tough, and there\u2019s fear in knowing that any day could bring life-changing news\u2014along with all the unknowns that come with it. But we\u2019re trying to focus on what\u2019s in our control: supporting Isaac as he continues to live as fully as possible, and trusting that the right heart will come when the time is right.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
